| Zsuzanna Szentirmai-Joly has been awarded the Marie-Claire-Prize and the ShiwaForce-Special Prize April 4, 2011 The designer and fellow Zsuzsanna Szentirmai-Joly has been awarded the Marie-Claire-Prize (Hungary) and ShiwaForce-Special Prize. She was selected among 1000 applicants by Marie Claire magazine and awarded for the invention of a new textile. She received a special price of the agency ShiwaForce after presenting the new textile to investors, for instance to be used in architecture. Zsuzsanna Szentirmai-Joly was born 1976 in Tatabánya/Hungary. She studied textile and traditional tapestry at the István Tömörkény School in Szeged/Hungary and textile design at the Hungarian University of Craft and Design in Budapest. Zsuzsanna Szentirmai-Joly received the Hungarian Design Award in 2003 and the Lajos Kozma Craft scholarship in 2005.
