Postcards of a Human Landscape outlines a man-made surrounding that has been created and modified by representation, media, and by technological progress. It affects our present and also has an effect on how history is being narrated and interpreted.

On June 25 and 29, 2018, Pose for Me brings German voguing pioneer Georgina Leo Melody to Akademie Schloss Solitude to offer workshops and engage in discussions about the past, present, and future of voguing. Together with Shaka McGlotten she introduces this expressive, empowering dance form that has helped members of Black and Latinx LGBTQ communities to make a home for themselves in often hostile worlds.

Anthony Pateras and Jérôme Noetinger have been performing as a duo for over a decade now. For their collaboration at Akademie Schloss Solitude's Guibal-Saal, the duo will record multiple layers of piano onto three Revox tape machines. The final quadraphonic concert takes place on June 15, 2018, at 7 p.m.
The Iranian filmmaker Shirin Barghnavard's documentary portrait Poets of Life tells the story of Shirin Parsi – rice farmer, environmentalist, and activist.
