The Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Baden-Württemberg Art Foundation are organizing a collaborative exhibition evening in the Römerstrasse. The 15th issue of the »Römer« will display the different artistic procedures by fellows of both institutions.
In addition to various video works, there will be two performances and a reading of short stories. The works question, in different ways, interpersonal relationships, and develop their own language of the unspoken, of silence – they might leave the observer with a »slight pinch in the skull« (Tim Holland).
With video works by Selma Alaçam (video artist, Karlsruhe/Germany), Ewa Borysewicz (filmmaker, Kraków/Poland), Lindsay Foster (visual artist, Seattle, WA/USA).
Featuring performances by Cara Benedetto (visual artist, New York, NY/USA), Tim Holland (poet, Leipzig/Germany) and Johannes Kreidler (composer, Berlin/Germany).
Curated and coordinated by Sascia Bailer (scholarship for arts management, Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg) and Marlène Perronet (fellow for art coordination, Akademie Schloss Solitude).
A cooperation between Akademie Schloss Solitude and Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg.
