Born 1985 in Haifa/Israel.

Haneen Naamneh is currently living in London/UK where she is doing her PhD in sociology and works as a research assistant at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She holds an LL.M. from The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and LLB from Haifa University.

Prior to studying in Great Britain, Haneen worked as a lawyer with Adalah – The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel, and was also a legal adviser with the Norwegian Refugee Council in Jerusalem. She contributed to several Arab newspapers and cultural media, including Assafir al-Arabi and Jadaliyya.

Among her recent publications are a book chapter in The Palestinians in Israel: Readings in History, Politics and Society, published by Mada al-Carmel: Arab Center for Applied Social Research, Haifa; and Establishing a Legal Counter Archive in Palestine for The Nakba Files Blog (Columbia University Center for Palestine Studies and Adalah).

In 2017, she was granted the Palestinian American Research Centre (PARC) Research Fellowship and a grant from Funds for Women Graduate (FfWG) in Great Britain.
