Born 1986 in Stuttgart/Germany.

Mareen Wrobel works as a freelance graphic designer in Stuttgart. From 2009 to 2013 she studied visual communication at Merz Akademie, Hochschule für Gestaltung, Kunst und Medien, Stuttgart. Within the scope of her academic studies she staged the exhibition Welch Schöne Utopie – Ein Austausch ungezwungener Künste (What a Nice Utopia – an Exchange of Unconstrained Arts) at the Wilhelmspalais Stuttgart, together with her former fellow student Andrea Bianchin at the end of 2012. They presented more than 100 works from 62 artists on two floors. The poster, they had designed for the exhibition was selected for the series »100 beste Plakate 2012« (100 best posters in 2012) and received the German Design Award in 2015.

Besides her work as designer she was engaged at the project space LOTTE as organizer, designer and curator from 2012 to 2013. After finishing her academic studies in 2013, she founded the design office anchin mabel together with Andrea Bianchin. She also realized her own projects and freelance jobs, in particular a major project for two years from Georg Thieme Verlag Stuttgart for the fostering series I Care published in 2015.

From 2015 to 2016 she studied as visiting student at the professional class for poster design and communication of Prof. Patrick Thomas at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart and took part in the Postkartenausstellung – 105x150.
