Born 1987 in Cairo/Egypt.
Mounir Saeed is a dancer, choreographer, musician, and a dance teacher. He was trained in the four year dance education program Cairo Contemporary Dance Workshop Program (CCDWP). During this program, Saeed was awarded the prize of excellence from Cairo Opera House in 2009 for his first solo The Game.
He participated in performance tours in Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Dubai, Morocco, USA, and Spain from 2016 until 2019 after winning the third prize for performance with his solo What about Dante in the 20th International Solo Dance Theater Festival in Stuttgart/Germany, in 2016. He was a dance teacher in the National Dance and Music Academy in Rome/Italy (2016–2017).
He participated in numerous local and international festivals such as: D-CAF, Cairo/Egypt; Danza in RETE, Vicenza/Italy; Belgrade Summer Festival, Belgrade/Serbia; OnMarche, Marrakesh/Morocco; Hivernales D'Avignon, Avignon/France; Acker Stadt Palast, Berlin/Germany; and MAPAS, Tenerife/Spain. He was supported by the British Council in Cairo to create his collective dance performance Prophecy/Submission in 2013.
