Born 1980 in Sofia/Bulgaria.
Viktoria Draganova is a curator, educator, and writer based in Frankfurt am Main/Germany and Sofia. Between 2000 and 2006, she studied law at the Humboldt University, Berlin/Germany, and at the Nottingham Law School/Great Britain. She received her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt am Main.

Since 2012, she has developed an independent curatorial practice and has worked with Roodkapje, Rotterdam/The Netherlands, Städel Museum and Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt am Main. In 2014, she founded Swimming Pool, a non-profit small-size organization in Sofia, which is focusing on research, collaborative approaches, art education, and art community politics. The space has collaborated with local and international public organizations: David Dale Gallery, Glasgow/UK; Art in General, New York/USA; Peach, Rotterdam; Life Sport, Athens/Greece; i-project space, Bejing/China; Jindrich Chalupecky Society Prague/Czech; and Aether, Sofia. Since 2018, she has been running an experimental educational platform featuring partnerships with art academies as Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main; Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam; National Art Academy, Sofia; and Kunsthochschule, Mainz/Germany. She also runs an experimental curatorial school dedicated to practices of instituting and collaborating in the art field. Her writings have appeared in artists catalogues, research publications, and magazines, among others: Badland, Echo Gone Wrong, Flash Art International, Frieze, Mousse Magazine and СВЕМА.
