In August 2016, the debut novel of the Leipzig author and Solitude fellow Katharina Bendixen has been published with poetenladen Verlag Leipzig. The novel Ich sehe alles (I see everything) deals with a young woman moving to Budapest to dare a new start. Once there, she slowly notices that neither the new town nor her host family are what they seemed to be.

On July 2, 2015, the film Chronicles of Solitude by Manuel Ferrari premieres at the 26. International Film Festival Marseille. Chronicles of Solitude was filmed during his stay at Akademie Schloss Solitude. A special screening will be held during this year's summer festival of Akademie Schloss Solitude on July 18, 2015.
On June 18, 2015, at 10.45 p.m. a short portrait on the Solitud efellow Johanna Diehl will be shown. The feature, that was recently filmed in the Akademie, will air in the context of the series Kunscht! on SWR.
Former fellow Krisztiina Tóth and her translator György Buda are nominated for the Internationaler Literaturpreis 2015. The winning author-translator team will be selected out of the six nominees on June 29, 2015.
