Architektur für Reisende (Architecture for Travelers) is a volume of poems with travel notes on a hiking tour straight through the American state Texas. The better part of the book was produced in the framework of the same name building project which the author, the architect Alan Worn, the poet Lynn Xu as well as family and friends in Marfa, Texas jointly realized.

In direct reference to the volume of poems Architecture for Travelers, the photography-volume series Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa, was published in February 2014 – also in the Projektiv series by Edition Solitude.

Joshua Edwards is publisher and co-editor of Canarium Books. After Campeche (Noemi Press, 2011) and Imperial Nostalgias (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2013) Architektur für Reisende is his third volume of poems. While he is not on a journey, Joshua Edwards lives with his wife, the poet Lynn Xu, in Marfa TX/USA.
