Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa is a collection of 230 photographs taken during a 1000-kilometer walk across Texas, from the author's birthplace to a piece of property where he and his wife will build a house.

Joshua Edwards directs and co-edits Canarium Books. He is the author of three books of poetry, Architektur für Reisende (Architecture for Travelers), Imperial Nostalgias, and Campeche, and a photography book, Photographs Taken at One-Hour Intervals During a Walk from Galveston Island to the West Texas Town of Marfa. When not traveling he lives in Marfa, TX/USA with his wife, the poet Lynn Xu.
