Both were elected with a substantial majority.\r\n\r\nWith this new leadership, the terms of Jeanine Meerapfel as President and Kathrin R\u00f6ggla as Vice President come to a close, as per the statutes. Both served in their respective roles for nine years.\r\n\r\nCurrently, the Akademie der K\u00fcnste has 407 international members across its six sections: Visual Arts, Architecture, Music, Literature, Performing Arts, and Film and Media Arts.
