Gabrielle Schaad ist Doktorandin am Institut f\u00fcr Geschichte und Theorie der Architektur (gta) an der ETH Z\u00fcrich, Schweiz. Von 2002 bis 2010 studierte sie Kunstgeschichte, Ostasiatische Kunstgeschichte und mittelalterliche Arch\u00e4ologie an der Philosophischen Fakult\u00e4t der Universit\u00e4t Z\u00fcrich und der \u00c9cole Pratique des Hautes \u00c9tudes, Paris\/Frankreich. Von 2013 bis 2014 war sie Gaststudentin im Rahmen eines Forschungsaufenthalts an der Graduate School of Cultural Science, Saitama University, Japan und 2014 Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl f\u00fcr Kunstgeschichte und visuelle Kultur der Sophia University, Tokyo\/Japan.
