He argued that mathematical quantification, for example in the form of algorithms, leads to the future becoming something predictable - and thus controllable. Nishant Shah's comparison of machine-controlled and man-made future concepts raises the question of human agency in the age of the technosphere.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span class=\"has-font-reckless-light\" style=\"font-family: 'Reckless Regular';\">On Wednesday, September 17, 2020, 7 pm, Nishant Shah and the media artist Mary Maggic will discuss the potentials and consequences that arise from this situation in an online conversation which can be live-streamed on our Vimeo channel.
