The installation at Projektraum R\u00f6merstra\u00dfe was born of an ongoing collaboration with Begegnungsraum e. V., without an initial pre-formed plan. In the workshop, Nika Rukavina will discuss the difference between pain and suffering, to see how we can use art to express our pain. How to Build a Steel Drum<\/em> is a whispered guide based on the booklet Steel Drums. How to Play Them and Make Them<\/em> (1956) by left-wing folk singer Pete Seeger, and an educational video entitled Music from Oil Drums<\/em>, which the latter recorded on 16mm film with Trinidadian steel drum pioneer Kim Loy Wong.<\/p>\r\n

Participants meet at Chloroplast e. V. The first part of the workshop starts with a short clay meditation in the forest, collecting small amounts of clay nearby. From 4 pm participants will also have the chance to join the tour to Chloroplast e. V. at Weilimdorf.\r\nThe tour ends at 6 pm with a dinner at Chloroplast e. V. with representatives of Chloroplast e. V. and the artists\u00a0 Monika Czyzyk, Neil Luck and the Nomadic Kiln Group.<\/p>\r\n
