Moisture \u2014 and wetness \u2014 are pushed to the margins. However, cities around the world, from Berlin to Bombay, from Chicago to Kolkata, are built on wetlands. The unequal access to drinking water and chronic flooding are pressing dilemmas of contemporary urban life, especially in the face of climate change and the failure of urban planning.\r\n\r\nThe exhibition <em>An Amphibious Urbanism<\/em> comprises photographs of the city, captured through the porous and osmotic surface of the urban landscape.
