Their responsibilities range from season planning to the development and supervision of projects, as well as internal and external communication.\r\n\r\nFew areas shape the profile and overall impact of a theater as profoundly as dramaturgy. Yet, despite its omnipresence, it often remains invisible. Dramaturgs navigate the intersections of multiple interests \u2013 for the ensemble, the directors, the audience, and the institution itself.
