How can citation move beyond mere attribution \u2013 and become a way of thinking, relating, resisting? Might the act of citing itself be reimagined as a practice of care, of connection, of disruption? These and other questions set the tone for the 20th Web Residency call entitled \u00bbTools for Citation.<\/a>\u00ab<\/span>\r\n\r\nDeveloped over the past months, the six selected works<\/a> engage with citation as a poetic, political, and material practice. Through interfaces, sound, text, movement, and visual media, they explore how knowledge is sourced, situated, shared. Across all works runs a shared interest in the visible and invisible infrastructures that shape our collective memory.<\/span>\r\n\r\nWe warmly invite you to join the public online launch of the 20th Web Residencies \u00bbTools for Citation\u00ab on\u00a0May 9, 2025, at 4 pm CEST<\/strong>. This special event with the curators and jurors of this call,\u00a0Mindy Seu<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Charles Broskoski,<\/strong> brings together the six selected fellows to share insights into their projects and creative processes, developed during their Web Residency over the past months. At the launch, the artists will present their projects in diverse formats \u2013 ranging from live readings and demonstrations to performative walks, deep dives, guided meditations and Q&As.
