In it, he asks Louis to decipher a painting of the\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">fossiliferous<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0cliffs at Walton on the Naze in Essex, England. Enclosed is a photocopied manuscript of the novel <i>The Fourbanks of the River of Space<\/i> by South American writer Wilson Harris, who once lived nearby.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBlending documentary and speculative elements, <em>Afterthoughts of a Walk on the Naze<\/em> becomes a form of \u00bbquantum fiction\u00ab \u2013 a cinematic reflection on artistic legacy, memory, death, weather, and time.
