The exhibition features artistic positions by current and former fellows of the Akademie Schloss Solitude.<\/span>\r\n\r\nTime often appears self-evident to us \u2013 as a neutral continuum that accompanies our lives. Yet it is far more than that: it structures behaviour, regulates expectations, and stabilises social order. Time can function as an instrument of political and social control through which norms are reinforced and deviations are marked.\r\n\r\nAt the same time, phenomena such as simultaneity, synchronicity, or anachronism demonstrate that time does not unfold in a seamless linear progression. They point to other, non-linear temporalities and to the fragility of a system that is neither entirely seamless nor fully controllable. What happens when time is conceived not as a line of progress, but as a complex and layered structure?\r\n\r\nThe exhibition approaches time as a dynamic, performative, and plural phenomenon. It examines mechanisms of political, social, and epistemic order while directing attention to moments of disruption: interruptions, glitches, simultaneity, and ruptures\u2014those moments when linear processes falter.\r\n\r\nWith works by Hiba Ali, Julio Cann Gonz\u00e1lez, Rachel Gill, Miriam Humm, Devin Kenny, Sara Lana, Virginia Lupu, Benigno Mangovo, Atsuko Mochida, Jos\u00e9 Morb\u00e1n, Peter Okotor, Irene Piloya, and Micha Ullman."},{"acf_fc_layout":"content_txt","_acfe_flexible_layout_title":null,"bgcolor":"has-bg-yellow","bgcolor_custom":"","layout_col_size":12,"txt_cols":"is-1-txtcol","txt":"
