Moving through a fictional transit facility, audiences become travellers embarking on a somnambulist journey in search of sleep. Along the way, they encounter fellow wanderers of the night and officials of the imagined Republic of Sleep, where access, belonging, and rest are unequally distributed.\r\n\r\nBlending performance, sound, light, and integrated audio description, <em>Nocturnal Crossings<\/em> reflects on states of transition in which identity, perception, and control begin to shift.
