Many were able to postpone the fellowship to a later date, while others received\u00a0 their grant in absentia until July and \u2013 as far as possible from a physical distance \u2013 have been included within the network and dialog among the fellows.\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<h3>\u00bbEven as we practice physical distance, we try to connect socially more than ever before, because only together and in a reciprocal exchange can we handle this complex situation and strengthen each other. Empathy, solidarity and radical respect are required of us more than ever.\u00ab<\/h3>\r\n<span class=\"has-font-maison-neue has-font-reckless-neue-book\" style=\"font-family: 'Reckless Neue Book';\">Elke aus dem Moore, Director of Akademie Schloss Solitude<\/span><\/blockquote>\r\nSince mid-March,\u00a0internal presentations in the form of video conferences\u00a0have been held at the Akademie every Tuesday, in which even absent fellows can participate and present their work.\r\n<div class=\"ig-fieldgroup ig-fieldgroup-type\">\r\n<div class=\"ig-fld ig-fld-text ig-fldtype-string\">\r\n<div class=\"ig-fld-field_values\">\r\n\r\nAkademie Schloss Solitude introduced digital formats for residency work at a very early stage.\u00a0The online forum\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schloss-post.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/schloss-post.com\/\">SCHLOSSPOST<\/a>,\u00a0founded in 2016, is currently of particular importance, as it provides insights into the artistic work of current and former fellows, and features studio visits, interviews and other articles. The Schlosspost contents will find space on the new Akademie website from September on.\r\n\r\nThe exclusively virtual\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/schloss-post.com\/overview\/web-residencies\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/schloss-post.com\/overview\/web-residencies\/\">WEB RESIDENCIES<\/a>, which have been organized in cooperation with the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe from 2017 until 2020, have meanwhile become \u00bbbest practice\u00ab for the work of online international artist residencies.\r\n\r\nSince March selected videos and streams of readings, performances and lectures by the fellows have been made available to the public for a week at a time as part of Schlosspost\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schloss-post.com\/category\/schlosspost-streaming\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/schloss-post.com\/category\/schlosspost-streaming\/\">STREAMING<\/a>.\r\n\r\nIn September the new Akademie Schloss Solitude website will be launched\u00a0which will permit many more digital formats in the future.\r\n\r\nThe\u00a0series of talks and workshops entitled \u00bbTransformation \u2013 Unfolding the Future\u00ab will take place largely in the fall and winter, and these dates will also be communicated in via the Solitude website and newsletter.\r\n\r\nAll other activities, dates and online offers are updated regularly.\r\n\r\n<strong>ART QUESTIONS\r\nART SHAPES AND CHANGES THE WORLD\r\nART LOOKS TO THE FUTURE\r\nART HELPS US TO REALIGN OURSELVES\r\nART IS A KEY TRANSFORMATION RESOURCE\r\n\u200bART IS ESSENTIAL TO SOCIETY<\/strong>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>"}]},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/19244","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/13359"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=19244"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"news_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news_type?post=19244"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
