This year's exhibition <em>Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.<\/em> from May 10 to November 23, 2025 invites different types of intelligence to work together to rethink the built environment. <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Nine current and former Solitude fellows and one former Solitude juror will take part in the Biennale.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Together with her collective, current Solitude fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/person\/atsuko-mochida\/\">Atsuko Mochida<\/a> presents the project <em>T-an, the art of Utushi.<\/em><\/span> Mochida's installation of metal scaffolding tubes, <em>Dancing Teahouse<\/em>, is the central element of the project and is accompanied by a video documenting the collaborative process of conception and realization. The work is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, which puts wooden houses on foundation stones without a firm connection so they hold their structure while moving during an earthquake, just as if they were dancing.\r\n\r\nAlso participating in this year's Architecture Biennale are:\r\n<span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Beatriz Colomina<\/span> (juror 2009\u20132011), <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Eva Franch Gilabert<\/span> (fellow 2010), <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\">Elise Hunchuck<\/span> (fellow 2025\/2026),\u00a0 <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Farzin Lotfi-Jam<\/span> (fellow 2016), <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\">Iassen Markov<\/span> (fellow 2007\/2008) as curator of the Bulgarian Pavilion, <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\" style=\"font-family: Maison Neue;\">Vlad Nanca<\/span> (fellow 2006) in the Romanian Pavilion, <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\">Nomeda and Gediminas Urbonas<\/span> (fellows 2002), as well as <span class=\"has-font-maison-neue\">Albena Yaneva<\/span> (fellow 2004)."}]},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/42675","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=42675"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"news_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.akademie-solitude.de\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news_type?post=42675"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
