Serving as an interface between the disciplines of art, science, and digital cultures, the platform works with fellows to develop themes and projects that present this transdisciplinary work and its experimental processes to diverse audiences through collaborative event formats.\r\n\r\nA Space for Transdisciplinary Work<\/span>\r\n\r\nMany of the social, technological, and ecological questions of our time cannot be addressed from the perspective of a single discipline alone. SCOPE therefore operates precisely at the intersection of different forms of knowledge and practice.\r\n\r\nArt can identify social and technological developments at an early stage, engage with them critically, and open up new perspectives on ongoing debates. In dialogue with science and digital technologies, it creates spaces for reflection that would remain inaccessible within the confines of a single discipline. SCOPE brings together perspectives that would otherwise rarely meet, examining how digital structures and scientific practices shape our understanding of society, art, and knowledge.\r\n\r\nOpen-Ended Experimentation<\/span>\r\n\r\nSCOPE is conceived as a space for experimentation. The platform makes the international community of Akademie Schloss Solitude, as well as its learning and working processes, visible and invites diverse audiences to participate in them.\r\n\r\nTogether with the fellows, SCOPE develops themes, projects, and event formats in which new forms of collaboration can be explored. The focus is not on ready-made answers, but on open-ended processes and unexpected connections.\r\n\r\nCollaboration as a Guiding Principle<\/span>\r\n\r\nCollaboration lies at the heart of SCOPE. It takes place both within the Akademie and with local and international partners. The platform connects fellows with universities, research institutions, and cultural organizations, creating new opportunities for the transfer of knowledge between art, science, and digital technologies.\r\n\r\nThe perspectives, insights, and questions emerging from these encounters are shared publicly in a variety of formats: at on-site events, through digital contributions, and in the Solitude Journal.\r\n\r\nSCOPE in the Fall Events Program<\/span>\r\n\r\nWith the start of the fall events season, SCOPE will become increasingly visible within the Akademie\u2019s program. Together with fellows as well as local and international partner institutions, the platform is developing transdisciplinary formats that connect people with different backgrounds, forms of knowledge, and practices.\r\n\r\nThe first SCOPE event<\/span>, Process Seeds \u2013 Artistic and Scientific Material Experimentat<\/em>ion<\/a>, will take place on October 23, 2026<\/span>, in cooperation with the Robotic Composites and Compositions Group (RoCoCo) at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS) in Stuttgart.\r\n\r\nProcess Seeds<\/em> brings together artists and scientists who experiment with materials. The event offers insights into the often invisible processes through which ideas take shape: How do questions emerge? How do materials resist or redirect an initial idea in a new direction?
