Since its establishment in 2012, it has operated as a studio hub within a uniquely renovated former brewery. Numerous Hungarian visual artists and creative enterprises have found a permanent base in this building complex.\r\n\r\naqb hosts an international artist residency program and organizes exhibitions in its non-profit gallery, Project Space. Over time, aqb has evolved into a cultural melting pot, uniting a diverse international creative community across the fields of music, applied arts, dance, and visual arts.\r\n\r\nThe center regularly hosts events and workshops in the spheres of music, film, performance, and dance, including the annual aqb Open House Festival. Residents are offered private rooms in fully-equipped shared apartments within the complex. They enjoy 24\/7 access to nearly 400 m\u00b2 of shared studio space. For projects with specific needs, private studios can also be arranged.\r\n\r\nAt the conclusion of each residency, a collaborative event\u2014such as a pop-up exhibition, performance, or artist talk\u2014is organized together with the artist.
