For four weeks the »Hirschgang« – a corridor and space in transit by itself, turns into a possibility for meetings and exchange. The tables and seats, the walls, the computer and an e-mail address are an invitation to start a conversation.
On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 7 p.m. Akademie Schloss Solitude presents new exhibitions. Aleksandar Bede, Hanae Utamura, Nikoleta Marković, and Myriam Van Imschoot with Marcus Bergner and Frank Lovece present current works in solo shows. Additionally, a group exhibition by current fellows and guests on the topic of temporary homes, In-Transit, will be shown. On the night of the opening the newly renovated studios in house 4 of Akademie Schloss Solitude will be open for tours. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. visitors can view the rooms designed after the concept Flagranti by Umschichten.

»(Re-)Constructing Authorship« is the first symposium in a series of three, which is settled in a dialogue between artistic disciplines, philosophy, law, computer, and social sciences. The main focus of the event will be on different cultures of authorship in the arts, humanities, social sciences, exact and natural sciences with their forms of individual and co-authorship. An emphasis will be put especially on how the copyright debate could be developed constructively by the possibilities of digital media, with hypertext applications that allow active participation of the audience and that move towards a common-collective creative production.

The Household Spirit was recently published by Jonathan Cape (UK) and Pantheon (USA) in June 2015. With an aperitif after the reading and music by Cédric Pigot.
On Saturday, July 18, 2015, new exhibitions at the Akademie will be opened during the events of the summer festival. New works by the current and former fellows Maja Markovic and Sahar Qawasmi with Nida Sinnokrot will be on display.

In the context of the festival TERRORism by Schauspiel Stuttgart, Amandeep Sandhu will read from his latest novel The Roll of Honour on Sunday, June 28, 2015, 3 p.m. In the course of the reading, Jean-Baptiste Joly and Amandeep Sandhu will explore personal experiences with the complex of terrorism.
On Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 7 p.m. Anna Korsun will present her concert Ereignishorizont in the chapel of Schloss Solitude. The concert, incorporating organ, voice and bass clarinet with electronics, will be accompanied by her latest sound installation.
