On Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 10 a.m. the symposium »Lost in (Digital) Space. Autorschaft im digitalen Zeitalter«takes place in the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg.
Former fellow Juliane Götz and the artists' collective Quadrature have won this year's ESO-residency. The result of the residency will be presented at the Ars Electronica Festival 2016 in early September in Linz.
On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 8 p.m. Solitude fellow Myriam Van Imschoot and Doreen Kutzke present an evening of yodel, broken voice, and portrait at Künstlerhaus Stuttgart. The program of the evening includes the voice performance Hola Hu and the film Yodel Portrait Doreen Kutzke.
On October 18, 1988, the artist Johannes Cladders raised a white flag on the former demarcation line between east and west Jerusalem. In honor of this unique campaign, Akademie Schloss Solitude introduced the »White Flag Day« 20 years later in 2008.

On July 2, 2015, the film Chronicles of Solitude by Manuel Ferrari premieres at the 26. International Film Festival Marseille. Chronicles of Solitude was filmed during his stay at Akademie Schloss Solitude. A special screening will be held during this year's summer festival of Akademie Schloss Solitude on July 18, 2015.
On June 18, 2015, at 10.45 p.m. a short portrait on the Solitud efellow Johanna Diehl will be shown. The feature, that was recently filmed in the Akademie, will air in the context of the series Kunscht! on SWR.
Former fellow Krisztiina Tóth and her translator György Buda are nominated for the Internationaler Literaturpreis 2015. The winning author-translator team will be selected out of the six nominees on June 29, 2015.
By taking up the controversial debate about the concepts of plagiarism, appropriation and quotation, Akademie Schloss Solitude aims, together with its fellows as well as invited artists and scientists from the fields of literature, music, film, humanities and exact science, to discuss and analyze from various perspectives the different possibilities of appropriation.
