Japhet Miagotar

Japhet Miagotar teaches Visual Arts at Dschang University, Cameroon. Originally working in ceramics, he has been writing and drawing comics since 2002. For his characters, he developed a distinct shape, deriving from traditional African sculpture. In 2013, he won the award for best graphics at the international comics festival of Algiers with his Cargaison Mortelle à Abidjan (Harmattan 2012)
