Exhibition evening: Die Römer VI (The Romans VI) – Communicology

Under the motto of »communicology«, artists from a wide variety of disciplines meet for an evening in the Roemerstrasse project space. Communication is one of the art world’s most fundamental topics. Closely related to this are questions of truth, reality and the virtuality of the human mode of living, which is worked through in many artistic activities. Especially in the areas of photography, video and design, forms of technically allotted communication as a medium have become indispensable and address the interaction between people-people, people-thing and thing-thing. Works by Akademie Schloss Solitude and Art Foundation Baden-Württemberg fellows – on the questions and forms of the concept “communicology”, introduced by Vilém Flusser – are on view in an interactive context.
