Trance/FORM(s)
Dion Doulis shows a series of meditations on the human body, the physical origins of technology and the metaphysics of presentation. The performance evolved from a continuous reflection on the relationships between acting, memory, technology and the human form. Trance/FORM(s) is a piece on the desire to overcome the body’s boundaries.
Dion Doulis (*1971 in Oxford, Great Britain) works as an actor, writer and director. He was one of the founders and codirectors of the multidisciplinary performance group Wax Factory until 2006. Trance/FORM(s) is his first solo project. Doulis was a Solitude fellow in 2005.
