Marcin Gołąb
Born 1991 in Łódź/Poland.
Agnieszka Mastalerz is a visual artist based in Warsaw/Poland.
She studied at the Studio of Spatial Activities with Mirosław Bałka at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (MFA, 2018). In 2019/2020, she continued her studies at the Braunschweig University of Art with Candice Breitz and Eli Cortiñas on a DAAD scholarship. In 2017/2018, she was a guest student with Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts. In 2024, she participated in the Postgraduate Autumn Intensive Course at Malmö Art Academy, Sweden.
Her work has been shown at the Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism, Munich (2023), MAXXI Rome (2021), Centro Pecci Prato (2021), Palazzo Strozzi Florence (2019), Deichtorhallen Hamburg (2018), and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (2017, winner of the Hestia Artistic Journey Award), among others.
Residencies include Muzeum Susch/Switzerland (2021), the Artist Development Program, Luxembourg (2021), and Gallery Futura, Prague/Czech Republic (Visegrad Fund, 2020).
She is a recipient of the Young Poland scholarship, which honors outstanding achievements by Polish artists under the age of 35.
Her works are held in the collections of Fondazione In Between Art Film (Beatrice Bulgari), Ergo Hestia Group, the European Investment Bank, and the Warsaw Ghetto Museum.
Since 2021, she has been represented by eastcontemporary gallery, Milan/Italy.
