Apostolos Kalfopoulos (Ph.D., MArch, BSc) is an architect, independent curator and art critic. Since 2002, he has designed and curated a series of multidimensional projects, exhibitions and publications. He has extensive experience in artistic direction and strategic cultural planning. In 2017, he co-founded SuKu, which focuses on research through architectural design. In 2009, he founded DYNAMO (2009–2016), an independent, non-profit organization and project space supporting, promoting, and disseminating contemporary creation and original research in the field of visual and applied arts, architecture and design. He is an associate professor of Architectural Design and Visual Arts in the School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki/Greece. In 2023, he was elected director of the Joint (AUTh & UoWM) Postgraduate Program of Museology and Cultural Management. He lives and works in Athens and Thessaloniki.
