Jeannette Hunziker

Born in Bern/Switzerland in 1985.

Jeannette Hunziker is a writer who lives and works in Bern. After studying at the Literature Institute of the Bern University of the Arts (2006–2009), she traveled eastward and to Asia. In 2008, she was a finalist at the 16th Open Mike Berlin/Germany, and in the summer of 2009, she was an Artist in Residence at the Scottish Writers Centre in Glasgow/Scotland.

In addition to her prose debut Für immer alles (Lenos Verlag, Basel/Switzerland, August 2024), she has written a collection of poems. In 2022, she received a Weiterschreiben grant from the city of Bern.

From 2022 to 2023, she was co-organizer and curator of KREMA – Festival für Kunst at the Old Crematorium in Bern. She is currently working on her second book.
