Sanja Bistričić Srića
Sanja Bistričić Srica (born in Zadar/Croatia in 1982) is a multimedia artist, photographer and cinematographer. Through her artistic practice, which often explores personal themes, Bistričić collages and deconstructs sound, text, and image using film, video, photography and installation.
After completing her studies in the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Zagreb/Croatia, she earned a Master’s degree in New Media from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2020.
Her fashion and documentary work has been featured in numerous Croatian and international publications, and she has exhibited in both solo and group shows. Selected exhibitions include those held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb, the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb, Kazamat Gallery in Osijek/Croatia, Gallery Prozori, and UK Parobrod in Belgrade/Serbia.
In 2023, she was nominated by the Organ Vida Photography Festival to join Futures Photography, a leading European platform for contemporary photographers.
She is a co-founder and member of the multidisciplinary collective RA’AH, which focuses on the intersection of fashion and visual arts.
She lives and works in Zagreb.
