After the success of the performances of »Sommernachtstraum« in 2003 and »Peer Gynt« in 2005, the Musik Podium Stuttgart will once again host an open air event together with Akademie Schloss Solitude on the grounds of the Solitude Castle.
This first – in Stuttgart – scenic performance of the »Sommernachtstraum« is directed by Renato Grünig with the Bremen Shakespeare Company.
Solos will be performed by singers Sigrid Plundrich (Soprano) and Stephanie Hampl (Alto) and actors Barbara Kratz (First Narrator, Hermia, Squenz), Franziska Mencz (Second Narrator, Titania, Helena, SnackSnoutStarverling), Uta Krause (Puck), Renato Grünig (Zettel, Elf, Lysander) and Christian Kaiser (Oberon, Demetrius, Flaute).
Heike Neugebauer designed the costumes and Peter Lüchinger is responsible for the idea and production.
