In the beginning of 2010, in the course of the monthly series »Thursdays don’t suit very well« the »Rocker 33 – Mini Club« welcomes a guest from the homeland of disco nerds, Scandinavia.
The Swedish artist and radio DJ Olof Olsson, based in Copenhagen/Denmark, in his performance will primarily focus on the prehistory, and the development of the phenomenon of disco and by means of audio samples will show how the sound, which later became so uniform, had only slowly developed out of different styles – to finally frazzle again. Olof Olsson was a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2007.
A cooperation of Rocker 33, Montage-Gruppe and Akademie Schloss Solitude.
