Aleksandra Went born in 1976 in Gdansk/Poland.

Alicja Karska born in 1978 in Malbork/Poland.

Alicja Karska and Aleksandra Went graduated from the faculty of Spatial Planning and Organisation at the Academy of Fine Arts Gdansk in 2003.

They work together as video artists. Their films combine everyday reality with hallucinatory narratives, urban contexts with transformations of suburban areas into dream-like mental spaces.

Their 2003 film »Spatial Planning and Organisation«, named after their academic faculty, deals with the persistence of modern ideology in contemporary life.
