Anke Zürn

Born 1964 in Wiesbaden. After studying art education and chemistry at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart, the ENSBA Paris, and the University of Stuttgart, Zürn completed her studies at Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, at the department of Prof. Dr. H.G. von Schnering with a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry in 1998.

From 1998 to 2001 she had her studio in Künstlerhaus Dortmund and was part of its steering committee and curating team. Since 2001 she has her studio in Zurich and works at the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry at ETH Zurich.
