Born 1967 in Berlin.

In 1989 certificate of apprenticeship as a dressmaker. Studies in communication design under Prof. Dr. Hans Puttnies and Prof. Christof Gassner at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) Darmstadt (Diploma in 1996). Postgraduate studies under Kathy Mc Coy at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI/USA (MFA 1996). Fulbright Scholarship from 1993 – 1995.

For three years she worked as a Senior Designer / Design Coordination on various corporate design projects for MetaDesign Berlin (clients among others Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG). In 1999 she founded her own office, with main focus on visual communication, concepts, design, corporate design (…) and books. Selected clients: American Academy Berlin; Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften (Academy of Sciences); Landesamt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologie Sachsen-Anhalt (State Office for Historic Preservation and Archaeology); Zentrum für Literaturforschung (Center for Literary Research), Berlin.

From 2002-2005 collaboration with the artist Lukas Einsele on “One Step Beyond – The Mine Revisited”.
