Christopher Moore is an active composer of acoustic and electroacoustic music currently residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Recently, he completed his studies at Stanford University where he studied composition with Brian Ferneyhough, Mark Applebaum, Chris Chafe and Josh Levine.

His music has been performed at various festivals and conferences in the USA, in Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and Northern Ireland by ensembles and solists including the Arditti String Quartet, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Insomnio, Earplay and others.

Current and upcoming projects include two new works for solist and electronics – for Keith Kirchoff (piano) and Claire Chase (flute) – a new chamber work for Earplay, and a new work for musikFabrik NWR, to be premiered at the Donaueschinger Musiktage in October 2009.
