David Coleman

Born 1969 in London. Studied piano, composition, music theory and conducting at King’s College Cambridge and at the Royal College of Music, London. Assistent to Michael Gielen at the Südwest Rundfunk (SWR) and at the Salzburg Festspiele. Assistent to Hans Zender at the SWR and the Saarländischen Rundfunk. Conducted for the SWR radio orchestra, Ensemble Recherche, Radio Symphonic Orchestra (RSO) Frankfurt and at the State Theater Mainz. Selected piano performances: ORF Vienna; Hessischer Rundfunk; South Bank Centre, London and Berlin Philharmonic. Selected performances of his compositions at the RSO Frankfurt, Cambridge New Music Festival and Schreyahner Musikherbst.
