Born in 1960 in Ulm.

Studied philosophy, German language and literature, theatre and rhetoric at the Universities of Berlin and Tübingen. 1988 docent at the University of Otago, Dundedin, New Zealand.

In 1989 she received the Thaddäus-Troll-Prize for her poems »Folg ich dem Wasser«. Eva Christina Zeller was fellow of the art foundation of Baden-Wuerttemberg in 1988 and of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg in 1989.

She lives in Tübingen with her two daughters and works as a journalist and author.

In 2007 she published the poetry volume »Liebe und andere Reisen« with the Klöpfer&Meyer publishing house. »Mütter – 133 Kurzgedichte« was released in 2006 with edition ebersbach. In the same year she published the second edition of the poetry volume »Stiftsgarten, Tübingen« with Klöpfer&Meyer.
