Born 1969 in Berlin.

1986-88 type-setter apprenticeship in the MfNV (Ministry of National Defense) printing office.

Since 1994 column on Berlin history in the city newspaper “Scheinschlag” (“Berlin 1894” to “Berlin 1901”). Since 1995 member of the reform stage Heim & Welt.

1996 founder of the Charles-Bukowski society. Since 1997 column “Berliner Zimmer” in the Tageszeitung.

Other publications in the magazines and newspapers: Salbader, Titanic, Frankfurter Rundschau, konr@d, Hebammen-Info, Nrc Handelsblad and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Published books: “Gastronomie in der Krise” (1998) and “Alles nur geklaut” (novel, 1999).

Since 1998 has been working on his novel “Speers fünfter Ring”. Piper will publish the novel “Trabanten” in 2002. 2001 anthologies “Traumstadtbuch”, “Frische Goldjungs” and “Wahlverwandtschaften”.

1999 participation in the author‘s workshop of the Berlin Literarisches Colloquium.
