Franck Barés studied Management Science and Human Resources Management at the University of Nancy.
He is associate professor in marketing at the ICN Business School in Nancy/France.
His research interests are entrepreneurship and regional development, transfer of technology and analyses of the development potential of founders of new business. He wrote his doctorate thesis on university spin-offs (starting and managing).
Barès is a member of the research group G.R.E.F.I.G.E. at the University of Nancy 2 and member of A.I.R.E.P.M.E (International research association for enterprises and medium-sized businesses).
