Iva Marčetić graduated in 2009 with a masters degree in architecture from the University of Zagreb/Croatia. Since 2006 she has been working in various architecture offices such as 3LHD und de Architekten Cie.
 
Iva Marčetić was a member of the independent group »Platforma 9.81« fostering research and activism in architecture. As a research assistant she was involved in several case studies and she organized numerous events in the Zagreb region.
 
Since 2006,  she has been a member of the Pulska Grupa, which addresses the Croatian coastal town Pula. The former military base there is being destroyed and sold by governmental organisations. Pulska Grupa organizes workshops in collaboration with international architects and interested inhabitants developing architectural concepts that try to assure the manifold uses of the area for the future. In this context, Iva Marčetić is also the co-editor of Grad Postkapitalizma (City of postcapitalism).
 

Iva Marčetić is a participant in the exchange program between the Akademie Schloss Solitude and Croatian artists from the Center for Independent Culture and Youth (POGON), Zagreb.
