Born 1974 in Belgrade/Serbia.

Iva Resetar studied architecture at the University of Belgrade before attending the Städelschule in Frankfurt from which she graduated with a Master of Arts in Advanced Architectural Design in the class of Prof. van Berkel. Her studies were supported by a scholarship of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in 2006/2006.

After having gained work experience in architecture offices for several years and having founded her own architecture office in Belgrade, Resetar has been working since 2007 as a designer for Schneider+Schumacher in Frankfurt in the fields of planning and competition design (1st prize in the international competition for the expansion of the Städel Museum in Frankfurt, 1st prize in the competition for the bridge over Koblenzerstraße in Mainz/Germany; 1st prize in the competition for office buildings in Stuttgart/Germany; shared 1st prize in the competition for the Airport Office Center in Frankfurt; all in 2008).

In her conceptual work she searches for the social effect of adaptable geometrical and structural systems and investigates the diverse interdependences of individual and public spaces. Group exhibitions in Frankfurt (Städelschule Rundgang 2006 and 2007), Cologne/Germany (Krings-Ernst Gallery, 2006) and Berlin/Germany (Werkraum Gallery, 2008).
