Jacqueline Gordon works with sound, sculpture and performance and currently resides in Los Angeles and Oakland, CA/USA. She received her BFA in photography (2004) from the San Francisco Art Institute and her MFA in 2011 from Stanford University, CA/USA where her research focused on the history of communications technology and the physiological and psychophysical effects of music and sound on the body.

She has exhibited at Empty Gallery in Hong Kong (2017) and the VAC’s Geometry of Now Festival (2017) in Moscow/Russia. In San Francisco, CA/USA, she has had solo exhibitions at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (2014), The Lab (2016) and Queens Nails (2009). She has participated in artist residencies at Skowhegan School of Drawing and Painting (2011), The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (2014), and Mills College in Oakland California (2015). Her work is in the collections of San Francisco MOMA, Berkeley Art Museum, VAC Foundation and private collections.

She is in the music and performance collective 0th, the Los Angeles based video and sound collective DLS and has collaborated with Laetitia Sonami performing throughout the San Francisco bay area over the past four years.
