Juha Huuskonen is an artist, software designer and curator. He lives and works in Helsinki.

Huuskonen studied at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki and at the Helsinki University of Technology graduating with a Master of Science in Interactive Digital Media. He worked as a software designer at MTV Networks in London, at CERN in Geneva and for several new media companies in Finland.

Juha Huuskonen is the program director of the Pixelache festival for electronic art and subcultures in Helsinki, which he initiated in 2002. He has recently curated such events and exhibitions as the Live Cinema Nights / ISEA 2006 in San Jose/USA, Mediawala / Doors of Perception 9 in New Delhi/India, the Picture House exhibition in Belsay/Great Britain and Etoiles Polaires 07 in Ghent/Belgium.

Huuskonen’s art projects mirror++, The Moment of Long Now and Roosa have been featured in numerous exhibitions in Europe and North America.
