She was trained as a journeywoman joiner. She has gathered experience in interior timbering.

Since 1990, she has studied industrial design in the field of “product design”, at the College of Design HdK Berlin. She wrote her thesis on the subject of “The happy hunting grounds; burial culture – rituals and accessories”.

Her independent work covers the fields of graphics design and project management for agencies and companies.

In the field of architecture as well as furniture and lighting design, she worked for a planning office and at the Design Galerie Berlin.

She assisted Design Chemaitis and Strehl, Hanover, for “Signet Expo 2000”.
