Born 1978 in Indiana/USA.

Kristina Estell has a B.F.A. in sculpture from Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and she received an M.F.A. in sculpture from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 2004. In 2000 she also attended the Haystack Mountain School of Craft, Deer Isle, Maine.

In 2009 she was awarded a full scholarship from the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle and in 2007 Estell received a McKnight Foundation Grant.

Kristina Estell was a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson/Vermont, USA in 2007, she held an International Artist Residency in Csopak, Hungary (2006) and a residency at the Takihata Art Walking Project in Kawachinagano, Japan in 1999.
