Born 1956 in Hennigsdorf, Germany. Started as electronics worker, among other jobs. 1982-1985 he studied literature at the Institut fŸr Literatur in Leipzig. Since 1986 freelance writer. In 1993 he moved to Western Germany, since 1996 living in Darmstadt.
